Just a little side-project using typography, colour and pattern.

Here I used a white brush and magic wand to get rid of some polygons

(#3 has a few missing in the body of polygons)

SQUARES

One of my favourite artists, Kazimir Malevich.

I was playing around in Photoshop with square canvases one day and thought of Malevich's Suprematist paintings of squares (Black Square and White on White).

Top: White on Black & Black on White

Bottom: Using halftone brushes on lowered opacity to make the text still legible

ALL HAIL BEARS

I finally got round to doing another poster after a bit of project work. The concept comes from love of awesomeness of bears shared by myself and one of my sisters.

I re-used the banner from "EINMAL UM DIE WELT" and re-painted and masked out a bear face to make it look OBEY-esque.

Made another poster after class today for one of my flatmates with a phrase she said to me about herself in a conversation a while ago.

After class today I wanted to make a couple of typographic posters in Adobe Illustrator using some lyrics. Here are the end results!

OVERHEARD CONVERSATIONS

So our task for this week's discussion was typographically set-out illustrations of overheard conversations.
Seriously, I overheard nothing. Nada. Nichts. Rien. This was about the only thing I did overhear...because in a supermarket in England this is all you hear.
